First clothes certified as Easy to use
The first garments to be certified by the Swedish Rheumatism Association as Easy to use are now being launched. Dobsom had its adaptive garments approved and certified last year, and they are now reaching the market.
A few years ago, Dobsom’s CEO, Mikael Paradis, contacted us at the Swedish Rheumatism Association. The company aimed to develop leisurewear that would also work well for people with disabilities, and they wanted our input. We put the company in touch with our testing partner, Lena Lorentzen, who is also an industrial designer and an expert in inclusive design. Dobsom got design suggestions and coaching to make truly easy to use products.
By the end of 2024, we Easy to use tested the newly developed clothes and they were approved and certified as Easy to use. Now, the certified leisurewear have finally been launched.
The certified products that have been launched are:
6531 Graham Jacket
6536 Graham Jacket – Women’s
8202 Sam Insulated Trousers
8207 Lily Insulated Trousers – Women’s
