How does it feel to be the only company in the world to have all your packages certified by the Swedish Rheumatism Association?

It feels both fantastic and genuinely inspiring. It’s a testament to many years of dedicated work to create packaging that truly works in everyday life, including for people with reduced hand function. We are very proud that our entire packaging portfolio is certified Easy to Use. The fact that we are also the only company in the industry to have all our packages approved shows that a consistent focus on user friendliness really does pay off, for everyone.

What does it mean for you as a company to have your packaging approved as Easy to use?

Simply put, it means that user friendliness isn’t just something we talk about, it is independently verified.

For consumers, the difference is felt in the small but important moments: a perforated opening that is easy to grip and tear off, and the air filled handle on all our packages that provides a stable grip and controlled pouring. For our customers, it means a package that is well matched to their product and one that stands out on the shelf thanks to its unique shape.

Our goal is to combine inclusive design with low material use and solutions designed to meet the expectations of the next generation of packaging.

What are your ambitions going forward when it comes to developing easy-to-open packaging?

We will continue to set the bar high. Every new format we develop will be tested early and iteratively with users, ideally in collaboration with the Swedish Rheumatism Association’s test groups, allowing us to refine opening resistance, grip, and pouring control in an early stage. We will keep improving the details in both smaller and larger sizes, ensuring all our packages are experienced as equally easy to handle, regardless of volume.

At the same time, we remain committed to the sustainability dimension. Making packaging easy to open must go hand in hand with low resource use and design for recycling. Our ambition is for every new solution will get Easy to use certified and help move the industry toward more accessible and more sustainable packaging.
